How to Add Terms & Conditions / Privacy Policies to Your Cart
Step 1: Log in to Your Dashboard
Start by logging into your Shoprocket dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Checkout Settings
Once logged in, go to "Settings" and then find the "Checkout" section.
Step 3: Add Your Policies
Look for the section for "Terms And Conditions". Here, you have two options:
1. Copy and paste your terms and conditions / privacy policies directly into the provided text box. These will be displayed in a modal/pop-up when a customer clicks on them.
2. Enter a URL to the terms and conditions or privacy policies on your website. This will direct customers to the relevant page in a new window when they click on the links.
Step 4: Enabling the Policies
Customers must check the box to confirm they agree with your terms and conditions in order to proceed to checkout. You have the option to "Check the "Terms and Conditions" checkbox by default", which would mean that the checkbox is already selected when the customer arrives. However, we suggest not enabling this in order to remain legally compliant and to ensure that customers make an active choice to agree to your terms and conditions.
